One resource you can utilize is an on-line supplement and resource called Spellingcity.com. SpellingCity is a website that helps students learn their weekly spelling words while having fun at the same time. Students may type in their word list and then do various activities or take a practice test while on the website. Your child can review the words, and play spelling games with their words to reinforce the learning process.
Simply go to www.spellingcity.com to see how the site works. Students will need to type in their own spelling list words in order to play the games and take practice tests.
We will still practice spelling in class and may have spelling as a homework assignment. Tests will be taken every Friday.
