Your instrument is your responsibility.
Avoid eating or drinking right before playing.
Rinse your mouth before playing a wind instrument.
Clean and dry your instrument after playing.
Avoid extreme temperatures, such as a hot car trunk or freezing weather.
Never force or take apart parts without professional guidance.
Practice
Practice a little every day and develop a daily practice routine.
Create a MakeMusic account and follow the assignment instructions on Google Classroom.
When practicing, focus on breathing, fingering, posture, rhythm, and accurate tone.
Slow down when something is difficult.
Listening to music and studying your music score are also part of practicing!

Concerts
Participate in every practice and rehearsal.
Arrive on time with your instrument and materials.
Attire: white top and black bottom.
Watch the conductor and follow directions.
Invite your friends and family to attend.
