2/10- We practiced our speeches today. Come ready to share it tomorrow in class!
2/9- Today we painted our masks. Make sure to keep practicing your speech!
2/8- Today we made our mummy masks!! Memorize your speech for Friday!
2/7- Today we talked about making our mummy masks tomorrow. Please bring a washcloth, face wash and wear clothes you don't mind if they get dirty. Please make sure you are memorizing your speech and working on your Egypt Artifact Project
2/4- Today we wrote our speeches out on the Google doc on Google classroom. Please email me if you are absent and would like to know your role :)
2/3- Today we completed assign. #10- Role Research by writing 5 facts and details about your character or role in our museum. Tomorrow we will type up our speeches in class. H.W.- please get your Egypt Letter signed if you haven't yet and just bring the bottom portion to me tomorrow.
2/2- Today you were given your roles and a letter was sent home (Copy of it HERE) for your parents to sign. Please bring back JUST the bottom signed portion back to school tomorrow! Start on your project sooner than later!!
2/1- Today you were assigned your Egypt Artifact Project (list of them are HERE). This project is due on our Egypt Museum Day- Friday, 2/18. Your roles will be given tomorrow!
1/27- Please visit Google Classroom and go the the assignment- Egyptian Achievements and read the pages attached then complete the Google Draw. If you finished this, no HW tonight :)
1/26- If absent please go to Google Classroom and complete the assignment- Famous Leaders of Egypt. Remember you can access your blue book on your clever page with the McGraw Hill icon. Use Lesson 3- Egypt's Empire for the answers.
1/25- Today we read Lesson 3- Egypt's Empire from the blue book and will do an activity with it on Google Classroom tomorrow.
1/24- Today we took a Check in Quiz on Google Classroom on Lessons 1-2 (pages 66-87) in our blue books. If you were absent please take this AT HOME using your book as this was AN OPEN BOOK QUIZ. We started a new warm-up #7- Egypt's Rulers and God's Summary and turned in our Papyrus Warm Up. No HW tonight unless you need to catch up on some missing Egypt work.
1/21- Today we completed any missing work for Egypt and watched a documentary on the afterlife of Egyptians. No HW
1/20- Today we read pages 84- 87 and completed Assign. #6- Social Pyramid. Egypt Vocab. is due tomorrow.
1/19- Today we completed Assign. #5- The Mummification Process with a partner using the information we read about yesterday and on the front of the assignment. We wrote the 10 steps out and drew pictures of them on the back of assign. #5. No HW for tonight
1/18- Today we read Lesson 2- pages 76-80 in our Blue Books (use the link in your Clever pages for McGraw Hill and then go to the section you need to or watch this video- Click here). Those who were finished with their Egypt Vocab. began on #4- Papyrus warm up.
1/14- Today we finished our Guided Reading- Lesson 1 and turned it in. No HW tonight :)
1/13- Today we began reading out of our blue books pages. 66-69 and filled out the first part of our Assign. #3- Guided Reading Lesson 1. No H.W.

1/11-Today we began our Unit on Egypt. We started working on our warm up- Assign. #1- Egypt Vocab. and our Egypt Map- Assign. #2- Egypt Map Directions. NO HW for tonight. Please see the assignment tab for handouts.
12/21- Today we took our map quiz on Google Classroom (if absent) and we also practiced writing on clay tablets. Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

12/7- Today we begin reading from our Blue History books- Lesson 1 The Sumerians on page 39. We began filling out assign. #3- Guided Reading- Lesson 1 together. Please get your progress reports signed tonight :)
12/6- Today we discussed the city states of Ancient Mesopotamia and chose one for each group. No HW for tonight
12/2- Today we began Unit 3 in History- Ancient Mesopotamia. We started on our warm up- Assign. #1- Mesopotamia Vocab. (not due till the end of next week) and started our maps- Assign. #2- Mesopotamia Map which we will finish tomorrow. No HW

10/14- Today we watched the Otzi (Ice Man) Documentary (click for video link) and filled out the notes (see the Assignments tabs). Shoebox project is due tomorrow! REMEMBER- No names on the box ONLY Block # and also, put your assign. #2 at the very bottom of the box.

9/27- Today we did quiz corrections from our quiz last week on Scientific Inquiry and then we watched Bill Nye's video on Cells and filled in the blanks on assign. #7 while we watched it.
9/23- Today we will finish page 25 in our Science Notebook and then explore StemScopes online! No science HW tonight :)
9/22- Today we read some articles from our Science textbook and completed pg. 25 in our science notebook. No HW for today
9/21- Today we started our unit on cells. WE began our warm up (assign. #6) which has two parts and we talked about uni and multicellular organisms. Tomorrow you have a quiz on our scientific inquiry unit (independent, dependent, and controlled variables, scientific question, hypothesis, etc) Please study and look over assign. #1-4 in your binder to prepare.
9/21- Today we built out spaghetti towers and tested tem. No HW
9/17- Today for Science we went over assign. #4- Variables Practice and turned it in. WE also turned in our NGSS Scientific Inquiry Reference- Assign. #1. We set up our spaghetti towers plan for Monday with assign. #5.
9/16- Today we finished launching and recording our rocket flight data and worked on assign. #4- Variables Practice #2. No science HW for tonight.
9/15- Today we continued working on our rockets. Now Science HW tonight
9/14- Today we worked on assign. #2- Understanding Variables (under the assign. tab) and started on assign. #3- Learning about Questioning (we will build these rockets tomorrow and test them).

8/31- Today we finished Learning Our World in Google Classroom and worked on Assign. #6- Latitude and Longitude Lines. Please finish your Google Classroom assign. if you did not in class and make sure to study your map for your test next week.
8/30- If Absent- Please go to Google Classroom and complete and turn in the assignment titled, "Learning Our World". HW is to study your 7 continents and 5 oceans for our end of the unit test next week. We also started on a new Daily Geo.- Picturing the World (if absent please print or complete in Kami) see assignment tab for copy of this.
8/27- Today we turned in our Daily Geo. (if you are absent please finish this from your binder and email me a completed picture if possible). We also corrected assign. #4- The World Map and we kept this in your binder to STUDY from for next week.
8/26- Today we finished The Physical World assignment and put it back in our binders to STUDY for your test at the end of the unit. We worked on Assign. #4- The World Map and we will finish it tomorrow. No H.W. for tonight.

8/24- Today we worked on Assign. #2- Geo. Vocab. in class and will finish tomorrow. This is not H.W., however you are welcome to work on it at home and we will correct in class together.
8/23- Today we started our 1st assignment (see assignment tab for hand out)- #1- Daily Geo.- Parallels and Meridians. This is not homework we will complete this daily together in class as a warm up. We also played Procedure Bingo.
