Teaching Career-
One of my greatest passions is being a teacher. I knew I wanted to be a teacher at a young age and I am so blessed that I get to live out that dream everyday! I grew up in Auburn, California and moved to Redding in 2002 to attend Simpson University. While attending Simpson, I volunteered at Boulder Creek and eventually became one of the Fine Arts teachers for grades 1st-5th. In 2007, I taught 6th grade LA and Social Studies at Parsons Jr. High. After that year, I was then welcomed back to Boulder Creek to begin the new, exciting journey of teaching the first Jr. High class!

I have been married to my wonderful husband, Cody Brawley, for 15 years. He is a Principal at Mistletoe School. We enjoy mountain bike riding, spending time with family and friends, and being outdoors. I personally love reading, shopping, bike riding, and spending time with my family. Our oldest son, Dylan Cody, is 9 and is in 4th grade here at BC, and our middle child, Hudson Merrick is 5 and attends Kinder here at BC, and our youngest is Easton Ridge is 2. They are so much fun and we love being parents!
