This is Amit Kumer Podder. Thanks a lot for your interest to know about me. I am currently pursuing Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of North Carolina State University, Raleigh, USA. I received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET), Khulna, Bangladesh, in 2016 and 2019, respectively. I achieved the Prime Minister Gold Medal and the University Gold Medal for outstanding performance at the undergraduate level.
I started my professional career as a lecturer in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) department of North Western University, Khulna. Later, I joined my alma mater KUET as a lecturer of EEE department in 5 February, 2017. I also promoted to Assistant Professor in the same department of KUET in 2019 and currently I am on study leave.
I devoted myself for learning, teaching and research in broader Power System field. My researches includes:
Smart Microgrid system modelling
Dynamic modelling of and resiliency analysis of Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Integration
Advanced and Robust controller design for Distributed Energy Integration
As an author, I published 19 peer-reviewed journal articles, 18 conference papers and 1 book chapter in several international journal and conferences proceedings. I also have 4 years experience as journal reviewer for several renowned journals and conferences.

[05 March 2024] Inducted to the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective all-discipline hour society.

[21 April, 2023] Succesfully completed the Leadership Development Program and earn the certificate organized by Student Leadership and Engagement, NC State University, Raleigh USA.
