At EdYouth Foundation Counseling, we are deeply committed to maintaining high standards of clinical care and ethical practice. If you have any questions, concerns, feedback, or a complaint about your experience or any of our staff, I encourage you to address this directly with me first.
Bringing concerns to my attention allows me to address issues promptly, understand what happened, and ensure we're living up to the mission and values that define our work. I take every concern seriously and am required to address the issues and file a formal complaint with the appropriate licensing board to protect the integrity of the counseling profession for any issues deemed to be beyond typical learning challenges or in violation of ethical practices.
Please reach out to me at Dr.FeliciaLewis@EdYouthCounseling.org or by phone (972) 928-7185 to discuss any concerns you have.
That said, you have every right to file a formal complaint with the licensing board or attorney general, and I would be happy to help guide you with suggestions of how to handle such complaints should they arise.
I hope nobody experiences any issues with us, but should any challenges arise, I would like the chance to work with you directly to understand what happened so I can quickly address it. Above all, I aim to ensure that EdYouth Counseling Services are held to the best standards for our clients, our clinicians, and our community.
If you believe a clinician has violated their code of ethics or scope of practice, you can file a complaint with the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council.
