Dear Math Justice League,
What a pleasure it was to see so many of you in person in Atlanta, GA earlier this month for the EL Education National Conference! There were many wonderful math sessions, meetups, and experiences. The highlight for me, however, was the Math Justice League and High School Meet-up to mark year 2 of our ongoing celebration of math work within our growing community.
Thank you to all 70+ of you who came, ate, drank, connected, solved problems, entered raffles, and hopefully continued to build excitement and passion for the work we do in transforming math education for students across the country. You all spark in me a continued drive to push this work deeper into the spotlight.
If you won the raffle - your swag is soon on the way! Please look out for it in January, as some need to be ordered. If you didn’t win the raffle (next time!) but have stories to tell about your experience at ELNC24 or within your own workspace, please consider submitting a blog entry to this newsletter! (Apply to write a community message here). Your words and work will inspire and support many as our Justice League is over 300 regular readers strong!
Here’s to continuing to expand our crew and making math changes in 2025!
In Crew,
Linda Grein, Math Project Lead
