Teachers open the add on and select one of their teaching blocks/periods on Google Calendar. A sub request form appears in the sidebar. The teacher completes the form and submits the request. Sub Manager administrators are notified via email of the request.
All requests are add to an invisible Google Calendar and as options to a Google Form.
A teacher may select one or more jobs they are able to cover on the form, which sends them an invite to the event with sub plans and an email is automatically sent to the requesting teacher confirming that coverage has been found. The sub must accept the calendar invite to fully accept the job.
All teacher coverage jobs are automatically tracked in a Google Sheet, which imports data directly from the "invisible" Sub Manager calendar.
Sub Manager adminstrators can generate daily coverage reports as well as payroll specific reports based on a date range.
Sub Manager adminstrators can directly assign subs for known absences.
