Attached above is an example of a schedule you can follow for the week. It provides a break down of the tasks that have been assigned to the students. This is also posted in Google Classroom for the students on the Bly 65 Homeroom page. Each assignment and task can be found in the subject classroom under Classwork.
Office Hours for Google Meet: Monday-Thursday from 1pm-3pm.
From 1:00pm-2:00pm you can join Google Meet to ask questions about Math by using the code given in our Google Classroom.
From 2:00pm-3:00pm you can join Google Meet to ask questions about English by using the code given in our Google Classroom.
On Thursday, April 9, 2020 we will have a whole class Google Meet session at 1:00pm to go over our thoughts and questions for the week as well to give students an opportunity to connect with each other.
Please note that Friday, April 10, 2020 is a holiday and there will not be any schoolwork or Google Meets that day. As well, Monday, April 13, 2020 is a PD Day, therefore we will resume online learning and Google Meet conferences on Tuesday, April 14.
Miss Bly
After being back from Winter Break for a few weeks now, we are finally back in the swing of things! We are excited to have welcome Ms. Patterson into our classroom and will work towards achieving a smooth transition once Ms. Bonello heads off to have her baby. Here is what is going on in the classroom these days:

Report Cards will be available online this Friday January 24, 2020.
Students are officially counting down the days remaining until Winter Break! We will be introducing a tree and forest task that will require students to create a newspaper with a partner. They are encouraged to continue to look at the sections within a newspaper and brainstorm what it is that they would like to include in their newspapers! Here is a snapshot of what else we are working on:

As the middle of November quickly approaches, students are continuing to build positive relationships with their peers and work further their learning in many different subject areas. Grade 6 students did a wonderful job during their SoundKreations performance on Friday and will now continue back with their normal Physical Education and PAL classes.
There will also be a Book Fair this week in the Learning Commons. Ms. Bonello’s class will be attending Tuesday morning at 10:30 am.
Please remember to sign up for Parent Teacher Conferences through the school’s website. Conferences will be taking place this Thursday November 21st and as a result, students will have a half day on Thursday and a PD on Friday November 22nd. If for any reason you are unable to attend conferences during this time, please contact your student’s teacher!

In Social Studies this week, we will looking at what happens now that Justin Trudeau is Prime Minster. What are his next moves? What can we as Canadians expect for the coming months?

Imagery Text: How can our words spark our touch, sight, taste, feel and sense of smell? Students have been working towards compiling a paragraph that does just that. Inspired by the works of Ray Bradbury, students have been putting together a paragraph on a dystopian world that evokes emotions and speaks to all 5 senses. Ask your student to share their paragraph with you!
