The main POC of each institution will receive a link to set up their booth. All booths should be set up by Friday August 5th. After that date, changes can be made to the links, videos, documents, and representatives (steps 3 to 5) but not to the graphic aspect of the booth (step 2). Institutions that participated in the 2021 version of this event will have the designs and documents they used last year preloaded in the set up link.
Note: This year, institutions may select the avatars of their preference (or no avatars) for their booth when completing step 2 in the booth set up link.
The images in the booth can be linked to YouTube and/or vimeo videos that open in a pop up window within the fair platfom. We recommend you add a thumbnail of the video with a play icon to invite students to click on it.
When adding content links (Step 3), bear in mind that these will display in a horizontal menu when students are browsing in a laptop/desktop or in a “hamburguer menu” when they are browsing on mobile. Do not add too many links or use long names as this will make the menu look crammed.
Even though it is possible to add text in the virtual banners of your booth, we recommend you only add a limited amount as it can be difficult to read depending on the screen where students are browsing the fair and the resolution of the images.
