In Term 1 the Preps have learned the following letter names and sounds:
Please continue to practise reading the names and sounds of all letters of the alphabet (in upper and lower case), but the letters above should have been mastered by the end of Term 1.

Using the letters above, children can make a range of words using their letter tile cards. We have also provided the following lists of words to practise sounding and blending (as modelled by Mrs Siladi in this video):
