A message from your teachers.
Hi all Prep students and families,
Welcome to the Prep Home Learning section.
Below is the outline of what we will be covering this week, as well as a link to the Department of Education's Home Learning Site.
Please don't hesitate to send a Dojo to your child's teacher if you have any questions.
Miss Ly, Miss Hayes & Miss Hickleton.
Our Learning Intention:
To write a recount about Wellbeing Wednesday.
Our Success Criteria:
I can write a recount about Wellbeing Wednesday using the 5W's.
I can create sentences by sounding out the words.
I can use capital letters, full stops and fingerspaces in my writing.
Activity:
Watch Miss Ly model how to write different sentence starters when writing a recount about Wellbeing Wednesday.
Your activity is to write about what you did on Wellbeing Wednesday.
Include at least two activities that you did. It may be a specialist activity or a wellbeing activity.
Remember to include the 5W's - who, what, where, when and why.
Try to use different sentence starters to begin your sentences. For example:
I had a great day yesterday!
In the morning,
First,
Next,
After that,
Remember: When students are sounding out their words, it does not have to be the correct spelling, so long as they are sounding out what they hear.
Take a photo of your work and upload it on Class Dojo.
