I am one of the music captains for 2025 and I am very happy to be in this role. Joel and myself have done some great things this year like term one: we did music club, we got lots of people to come to our “Music Monday” session and in term three me and Joel did backstage in the Jungle book. We did an awesome job with the music and visuals. The cast did an amazing job performing and it was an amazing show.
I have to say thank you to Mr Carver and the whole school for everything and granting me this role so thanks Inverloch.
In term four all the five sixe students practised for our assembly performances my class 5/6P did, “I wanna dance with somebody” by Whitney Houston. And the other 5/6s did other songs by other artists.
Hi, I’m Joel, and I am very proud to serve as one of Inverloch’s music captains for 2025. My partner, Grayson and I have spent a lot of time supporting The School Rock Band and helping others learn why music matters. We have both tried our best to guide, encourage and celebrate everyone who wants to be part of our music community.
Mr Carver has been incredibly supportive. He has helped us understand our roles and has shown us how to be responsible leaders. We were also lucky to help backstage during the school performance of The Jungle Book, which taught us how much teamwork goes into a successful show.
During the last semester, we enjoyed watching the grade 5s and 6s learn, practise and perform. They showed great courage and commitment, and it was inspiring to see how far they grew in both confidence and skill.
