Auslan

It has been a privilege to be a captain of such a positive subject. Over the past year we have run an Auslan club, that was booming at the start of the year. We have done Gnomelympics in class and explored the Deaflympics that was held in Tokyo this year. We have learnt how to play Guess Who and Bingo using Auslan signs. I have loved being an Auslan Captain this year.

Being an Auslan Captain was one of the best things that ever happened to me. We got to run Auslan Club, learn about the Deaflympics and play games like Guess Who. It was a fun opportunity and I had a great time being an Auslan Captain in 2025.
