Our writing focus for this term is 'Recounts'. 

We are learning long vowel sounds and digraphs.

We use 'Little Learners Love Literacy' to support our phonics program.

We also focus on other areas of reading such as retell, sequencing, inference, parts of speech, vocabulary and fluency.

In Maths this term the topics we will cover are:

• Place Value

• Addition and subraction between 0 to 20

• Skip counting by 2s, 5s, and 10s. 

We are responding to the big question:

'What makes Australia special?'

Our inquiry unit will incorporate science, reading, writing, maths, speaking and listening.

Students will explore Australia through learning about the native plants, animals and landmarks.
