Elinor our Librarian shares some wonderful stories from talented Authors and Illustrators of books we have in our school library. PLEASE NOTE WE HAVE HAD TO REMOVE ALL VIDEOS OF STAFF READING BOOKS AT THE REQUEST OF THE DET.
Together we have read “Wilam - Birrarung Story’ by Aunty Joy Murphy, Andrew Kelly and Lisa Kennedy (illustrator).
On the shortlist of Children’s Book of the Year Awards, a narrative that teaches us about the river, its indigenous history and inhabitants, and its significance and place in our life today.
It also teaches us some of the Woiwurrung language.
