Mini Lego Masters Challenges

Elinor from the Library

Elinor is our school Librarian. Listen to her read some of her favourite books from our school library and talk about the authors and illustrators of each.

This week is Indigenous Literacy week.

Together we have read “Wilam - Birrarung Story’ by Aunty Joy Murphy, Andrew Kelly and Lisa Kennedy (illustrator).

On the shortlist of Children’s Book of the Year Awards, the narrative teaches us about the river, its indigenous history and inhabitants, and its significance and place in our life today.

It also teaches us some of the Woiwurrung language.
