In your period 2 classroom you will be completing a goal setting task.
This is an individual task and each student must complete and upload this task to Compass. If you do not have a laptop with you, your teacher will have hard copies of the task available.
This task allows you to set goals for the duration of the IBL project and come up with strategies to help you achieve your goals.
If time allows you can start to read the tasks from the IBL booklet located on this webpage or under resources in your Homegroup Compass page.
Your teacher will help put everyone into groups for this period’s activity.
In groups, brainstorm 8 issues that you may be able to address in your project.
Add these to your IBL booklet as you go (page 5 of the booklet). Make sure you save the document regularly.
You will now work individually to look at some of the issues you are passionate about. Issues that you have an interest in and would like to be involved in solving.
Add these to your IBL booklet as you go (page 6 of the booklet). Make sure you save the document regularly.
Continue researching and finding evidence for your three issues. By the end of this lesson, you should have all of this documented on page 6 of the booklet
