SPELL-A-THON
The 13th Annual Spellathon event, organised by Dr Intha Chetty, will be running all week! We are proud to support a genuine humanitarian charity organised by Rotary Australia, that supports children born with cleft lips and palates. The "Gift of a Smile for Life" involves taking part in a spelling activity and to raise awareness. As a school, we have raised over $32,000 giving over 120 babies the vital operations they require.
All students will be tested in their English class, with the top 2-3 students being invited to take part in the Spelling Bee with students from other classes and year levels. Moorabbin Rotary Club will award medals for the winners on awards night.
Please make a gold coin donation to your English teacher so we can further support this cause - every bit counts! This is a wonderful initiative and we look forward to an enthusiastic involvement from our school community.
