Publication of the Senior School Handbook.
June
Year 9 - Extended level assembly to prepare students for subject selection. Online subject selection opens June 11 and closes June 22.
Year 10 - Parent/Guardian Senior School Information session Thursday June 18, 5.30-6.30.
Years 10-12 students and families are invited to attend the Careers Expo Thursday June 18, 6.30-8pm.
Year 10 - Student Senior School Information session and Curriculum Expo periods 1-3 Friday June 9.
Term 3
Information Night – New families to the school will receive notification regarding the Information Night. This may be a virtual/remote event.
July
Year 10 - Online entry of subjects opens Thursday July 16.
Year 10 - Online entry of subjects closes Thursday July 23.
Year 10 - Course Counselling Interviews Friday July 24.
August
Planning regarding studies/subjects to be offered by Wellington Secondary College.
Preliminary timetable blocking of units.
Further counselling on course selections, where necessary, based on review of this year’s results. Individual interviews with students/parents where necessary.
October
Final blocking of units and course selection completed. Confirmation to students of 2027 studies.
January 28 2027
Commence 2027 Senior School classes.
Note: The College will endeavour to offer as many VCE/VCE VM/VET units as possible. All offers of units are initially provisional and final classes are dependent on staff availability, level of student interest and constraints of the timetable.
