School Day

MORNING ASSEMBLIES

Every morning before roll call, we will be meeting for our year assembly, this will be located at the front of A block. The HT of Year 7, Ms Stevens and your Year Advisor, Ms Husic will be there. It is important that you attend the year assemblies. The announcements during these assemblies will let you know about any fun, co-curricular activities and day-to-day changes. All announcements are also posted on Sentral, which you and your parents will also need to check every morning in case you are late to school.

ROLL CALL

You will be allocated a roll call class. Roll call happens every morning before lessons start, you will be able to see your roll call room and teacher on your timetable. Any absence notes and forms, such as vaccination forms, are handed to your roll call teacher once your parents complete them.

FOLLOWING YOUR TIMETABLE

You will need to follow your timetable and make sure you are on time to class. Once you start school, you will be able to access your timetable via Sentral. You will also be given a paper copy of your timetable in the first 3 days of school, make sure you keep it in a safe place.

We operate on a fortnightly timetable, where you will follow week A and week B timetable and bell times.

All of this will be explained in detail during our first week and you will be able to ask any questions if you are not sure. Your peer-support leaders and teachers will be there to help you.
