A glossary is like a dictionary that includes all the relevant keywords and their definitions. Most textbooks have a glossary in the back.
Having a dedicated glossary page for each module is a great way to keep track of important words. Just list the keywords on it each lesson then define them during a study period.

Your glossary doesn't have to be a list on a piece of paper. You can make flash cards to practice these key words and their definitions using your glossary. You could do it on paper or try out a free app like Quizlet where you can turn your flashcards into a game or live quiz with your classmates just by clicking a button.
