2026 Zone Cross Country Carnival Convenor: 

• Truscott St PS 

Date: Wednesday, 13th May 2026 

Venue: Meadowbank Park, Constitution Road 

Time: Arrival from 9am, course orientation 9:15am, first event at 10:00am

Cost:  Please see your school's permission note. 

Attire: School sport uniform, no spikes.

Entry to Zone Cross Country:

• 8 boys and 8 girls per school in each age group from Member School Cross Country Carnivals

Zone Cross Country Program: HERE

• 9:15am: Walk the Course Orientation, 2 groupings 8/9/10s & 11/12/13s

• 10:00am: 12/13 Years Girls 

• 10:20am: 12/13 Years Boys

• 10:40am:  11 Years Girls 

• 11:00am: 11 Years Boys

• 11:30am:  8/9 Years Girls

• 11:50am:  8/9 Years Boys

• 12:10pm: 10 years Girls

• 12:30pm: 10 Years Boys 

• Presentation

  • 1:30pm Presentations

  • 2:00pm Carnival Concludes

Zone Cross Country Distance:

• 11 years and 12/13 years - approx 3km

• 8/9 years and 10 years - approx 2km

Zone Cross Country Course:

• The Cross Country Course has changed.

  • New map is finalised has been posted here and communicated to all member schools. 

  • In saying this, the map may still change without notice on the morning of the carnival for safety reasons. 

  • This is why it is vitally important for all students to be present to walk the course at 9:15am but it is optional. 

  • The planned course map is shown below
