The barranco district is a neighborhood filled with loads of exciting things to do, it’s filled with art galleries, boutiques and coffee shops. Everywhere you look you’ll find art and live music on the streets. The neighborhood also happens to be situated along the cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean, which makes it a prime spot to view Limas spectacular sunsets.
Circuito mágico del agua is a series of illuminated water fountains, it doesn’t sound too interesting when you first hear it but this is an extremely popular attraction. It made it into the Guinness book of records for being the largest water fountain circuit ever. The entrance fee is very cheap so it’s no threat to your travel budget. There are a total of 13 water fountains in the park and some of them are interactive so be prepared to get wet.

Humantay lake is a glacial lake located in the Andes mountains of peru. It’s surrounded by towering mountain peaks and is one of the most beautiful natural lakes. You can take tours to the lake that can vary in length, it’s not recommended that you swim in the lake because it’s fed by glaciers so it’s freezing but you can still take in the breathtaking views.

It’s the most important catholic church in the city and is the base of the archbishop and metropolitan council of the larger roman catholic archdiocese of Arequipa. Inside, the cathedral houses a high altar made of Carrara marble from Italy. It also has a museum full of different liturgical objects and religious paintings.
this place is a museum located in Arequipa, it’s renowned for housing the lady of Ampato, one of the most important and most well-preserved mummies in history. It was discovered in 1995 on the Ampato volcano by archeologists. The mummy, otherwise referred to as Juanita, was a young inca girl sacrificed over 500 years ago as an offering to the gods.
