What is mindfulness?
It feels like this word is thrown around a lot, but not a whole lot of explanation is given as to what it actually is. According to Headspace, 'Mindfulness is the idea of learning how to be fully present and engaged in the moment, aware of your thoughts and feelings without distraction or judgement'. Mindfulness allows us to be kinder to ourselves, helps us with our personal life (*cough* studying *cough*) and can also help with building our resilience. Of course, these things don't happen overnight - it's something we need to keep doing and keep building on.
