Merewether High School aims to give students the best possible experience with school events, extracurricular activities and many learning resources. We offer nothing but a superb secondary school experience and ensure that all attending students enjoy their time here at Merewether High School.
Peer Support
Merewether High School's peer support system is a unique one. Year 7 students will meet with their peer support leaders at an allocated time. The peer support leaders will have a range of activities that are designed to assist students with the process of transitioning into high school. These activities will continue through the first term ensuring that transitioning students adjust well.
Events
Events
Our School has many annual events that all students can participate in such as our swimming or athletics carnivals. During these events students will receive house points based on participation and performance, providing students with a sense of community within their houses through a collective reward.

Our Support Staff
Our school has many trained support staff such as our year advisors who are happy to assist students with any problems transitioning into high school.
