Panospheres

What is a Panosphere?

Using a technique to capture large panoramic photos that form a sphere, otherwise known as a panosphere.

Lachlan Feeney - Resident Science Consultant

At Riverina Environmental Education Centre we work collaboratively with Lachlan Feeney, our resident science consultant.

Lachlan employs drone technology to collect data and imagery that he is able to process using a wide range of software.

Using drones to capture panorama sets Lachlan is able to build a totally interactive 360 degree world referred to as a panosphere.

Please use the panospheres below to fully engage and interact with the Lake Albert Catchment from a multitude of perspectives.

Marshall's Creek Panosphere

Please explore the panosphere below to fully explore the extent of Lake Albert as the water flows down a gradient towards the lower end of the catchment.

Murrumbidgee River Panosphere

Please explore the panosphere below to fully explore the Murrumbidgee River at Wiradjuri reserve Wagga Wagga. The water of Lake Albert is connected to the lowest point of the catchment, the Murrumbidgee River.
