About my school

This is my new school. It is called Newington Public School.

I need to walk down some steps to go into my new school.

We line up safely outside the classroom before we go inside the room.

This is inside one of the Kindergarten rooms. I will learn to read and write.

This is the canteen. I can buy my recess or lunch here. 

This is the library. I can borrow books to read at home from the library.

I will learn how to use the computer.

This is our school uniform. I need to wear a hat when I play outside.

At school I have a school bag, a lunch box and a drink bottle. 

I hang my hat on the hook and put my lunch box and drink bottle into the tubs.

These are the toilets.

This is the hall. We have assemblies in the hall on Wednesdays.

At school I can play in the sandpit....

....or here on the grass

....or here on the court

....or on the equipment.

I can also play here.

I can eat my lunch on the grassy hill.

This is the front office.

This is the sick bay. I can go to the sick bay when I am feeling unwell or I am hurt.

At school I will make lots of friends.

We can't wait for you to start school.
