Our staff are busily working with our students to ensure a positive conclusion to programs for 2025. Last day of formal classes is Friday 19th December 2025.

Academic reports are being finalised and aim to provide you and your child/ren with an accurate outline of their progress in this second semester. This information is sure to aid some goal setting for 2026.

Reports for all years was released on Monday 15th December. They were emailed to all parents and available on the Parent and Student Sentral Portal. Please take time to read the reports and discuss with your child the suggestions each teacher makes for continued improvement.

As we wrap up the year, we held our Presentation Day Assembly on Monday 15th December. It is always so wonderful to see so many award recipients, both academically and for community service.

The HSC results will be released on Thursday 18th December. Kogarah High School is very much looking forward to seeing the amazing successes of our Year 12’s. I know this has been a stressful time, but your patience and determination will be rewarded.

As this is our last newsletter of the year, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our teachers and staff for their continued determination to teach and support our students each and every day. To our families, thanks for your support and continued commitment in making each day a success and to our students, who turn up every day and try their best. Enjoy a well-earned rest and enjoy the festive season.

We are looking forward to an even better 2026. We start the year with 4 Staff Development Days where staff will be focussing on analysing data and knowing their students in their classes and how they learn (with a focus on Literacy and Numeracy), developing assessment and programs for new syllabuses, working on our 2nd year of our School Excellence Plan and completing mandatory professional learning.
