During the COVID pandemic, students were asked to work from home to keep our community safe and to prevent the spread of COVID. Although it is unlikely we will again undertake remote learning (fingers crossed!) this page will help you be successful while learning from home. Kirrawee High School is an on-site learning facility. Although many classes operate an online platform to distribute information, students are expected to be in class to participate in all the set tasks and experiences of courses.
We know that during remote learning it can be a lot more challenging to stay focused, complete work, and look after yourself. Staying inside can make us feel more stressed and disconnected and it can often feel like the tasks in front of you are overwhelming. This is completely normal - you are not alone - and there and some things you can do to feel better!
The resources on this page provide suggestions for how to organise your time and work, how to distract your body and mind and how to get the most out of the online environment.
Don't forget, the KHS Remote Learning Hub has been set up to help you find all the important links that you need while learning from home. If you have any questions or need access to any of the programs we use at school, visit the hub which is linked here.
The 'Wellbeing at Home' Hub on the Department of Education website provides information and activities for students to support their wellbeing. Pages include activities and exercises you can build into the day to support your wellbeing, information and resources for students and important contacts.
