Kirrawee High School

Welfare Hub

Welcome

Welcome to the Kirrawee High School Welfare Hub!

This site has been created as both a space for connection and access to resources to support your wellbeing. Click on the Pages above to discover resources designed to help you take care of yourself, and others, and see below for information about Welfare at KHS and how you can get help.

Your KHS Welfare Team

At KHS we have a dedicated staff team who are here to offer you support, not only in terms of your learning, but also your wellbeing.

Who can you contact?

Year Advisers

If you have any questions or concerns related to your wellbeing or your ability to engage at school, you should contact your Year Advisers. Each year group has two Year Advisers (find your Year Adviser's details in the section below!)

HT Welfare

If you have any questions or concerns about  wellbeing that are more serious in nature, you should contact Mr Devine. If you have any serious and ongoing medical conditions and need to let the school know, you can also contact Mr Devine. He will then be able to offer you support and, if need be, communicate with the school counselling team.

Senior Executive

Wellbeing concerns are also communicated to the Senior Executive through either the Year Advisers or HT Welfare. If you have any issues or concerns, you should first contact the most relevant Welfare staff member (as above) who may then escalate to the senior executive if required

Pulse check-ins remain in place on Wednesday mornings. Click the button below to log in and tell us how you are feeling. Depending on your response, you may receive an email from your Year Adviser or a member of the Welfare team offering support.

Welfare Team & Counselling Service

As always, students have access to the relevant members of the Welfare team at KHS. Your Year Advisors are the first port of call for any queries related to wellbeing and your learning. Year Advisors and Mr Devine (HT Welfare) are contactable via email.

As needed, students may have access to the school counsellor via a phone or video call. Unfortunately, however, there are limited appointments available. Parents and students can access the school counsellor by emailing the school email address and requesting assistance. This email will then be forwarded to Miss Carosi and communicated with the school counsellors.
