The Parents & Citizens’ Associations were established for the purpose of supporting the school system for the benefit of students.
The Committee comprises of parents and guardians of children attending the school.
In March of each year the P&C holds its Annual General Meeting and appoints each office bearer position. Anyone can join the P&C simply by paying the $10 membership and this entitles you to one vote. However, you can still join at any meeting throughout the year if you are unable to attend the AGM.
The Jindabyne P&C Association consists of enthusiastic parents, carers and community friends who contribute their ideas and skills to the school in a variety of different ways to support the school for the benefit of all students. The aim of the Association is to provide parents and the school community with a place to meet representatives of the school to provide feedback, the opportunity to be aware of what is happening in the school and to continue to improve and support our school. We are a community wanting the best for our children.
We represent your voice in the things that matter and aim to improve the school by raising money for various programs and items for the school. Meetings are held in weeks 3 & 8 of each school term. People often think by joining it means a big commitment, but it doesn’t. You don’t need to attend every meeting, just those that matter to you and there are many other ways to be involved.
Please feel free to contact the P&C if you have any questions, suggestions, wish to volunteer or simply to say hello. We would love to hear from you.
