Next steps

Week 9

• For students who are being considered for the Numerate Citizen Pathway, school will notify the respective parents via email.

• Students with consistently excellent assessment results and strong work ethic will be placed in the Express Pathway for Year 9.

• All other students will be placed in the AAA Pathway to ‘keep the doors open’ for as long as possible.

Weeks 9-10

• Mathematics faculty finalise pathways and provide further counselling as required.

• 2026 classes drafted.

Weeks 1-9

• Ensure students are on the right pathway for them. Students will complete their first assessment in the selected pathway.

Week 10

• Students' Stage 5 Mathematics pathways finalised.
