They will also work with your staff to ensure that all students benefit from the most innovative technological applications available in education.
Regardless of where your school is based in NSW, our Digital Classroom Officers will create and deliver a Professional Learning (PL) plan for your school. All PL is multi-modal and can be delivered in either Face-to-Face or Online modes.
Our Digital Classroom Officers will assist your school in developing their skills in multi-platforms such as Microsoft, Apple and Google. This year, we have successfully upskilled schools in using tools as provided by these third party vendors by inviting Foundation schools to attend dedicated Professional Learning seminars. Schools have also been invited to work with Apple specialists whereas others were invited to participate in a Microsoft Showcase School program. The overall objective is to create state-of-the-art education in state-of-the-art learning spaces.
Our Digital Classroom Officers will work with your staff in any capacity that best suits your school. Whether that be working with teachers in each Stage, Faculty or in a One-on-One context, our Digital Classroom Officers will help your staff develop their pedagogies, embed technology into their teaching programs that support the overall technological strategic goals of your school.
Our team can provide your school with advice when planning the IT infrastructure needs for your school. Helping you understand the Educational Facilities Standards and Guidelines (EFSG) as well as building considerations, the Foundations.T4L team will be able to work with your Project Manager, Field Services Manager in building a school that accommodates the unique needs of students in your local community. We also assist you in selecting the most appropriate MLDs and multimedia solutions for your school.
If your school is going to open in 2020 and beyond, the program that we deliver will be based on the findings of the 2019 pilot. The Foundations team are building a model that ensures schools are effectively resourced to utilise ICT in their future learning spaces. This will be shared to all participating schools shortly.
