Minecraft Education

This PL can be delivered to your school in a number of ways. The most optimum learning experience is for the Foundations.T4L to work with teachers in your school first (either Face-to-Face or Skype) and then in the classroom with your teachers and students.

Select from one of the 3 formats presented below. Each format has a session for teachers and a session for students. Register quickly as spaces are limited.

Objectives

For students to use Minecraft Education in the classroom for authentic learning experiences
To facilitate collaboration between students in a class and between multiple classes within a school and across schools
To learn how integrate technology into curriculum
To learn how the ACARA ICT Capabilities and learning co-exist

One of our very own Digital Classroom Officers; Noelene Callaghan is a Global Minecraft Mentor and has been working with Minecraft Pedagogies since 2015.

Format #1 - Skype and ATP

Session 1 (This must take place PRIOR to the excursion):

1X1 hour skype meeting with participating teachers

- Planning
- Link to ICT capabilities (ACARA)

Session 2 (Student excursion to the ATP):

1X1 day (4 hour - 10am-2pm) excursion student workshop:

Activity 1 (as ascertained by teacher - session 1 workshop)

Please note that this is NOT a NESA registered course but contribute to 8 Teacher Identified hours.
