Time Action Plan
The updated action plan clearly delineates the anticipated timeline for accomplishing each milestone. This strategic approach serves as a crucial tool in maintaining project alignment and guarantees that we adhere to the established schedule, thus facilitating the successful completion of the overarching project.
Sketches
For a successful product we have considered all the design factors including durability ensuring the bandage is water resistant outer outermost layer and can withstand damage from daily movement. Bamboo fiber is a strong waterproof material which will prevent bacterial contamination. Further all the materials must be lightweight, biodegradable and animal friendly. The mid layer of the bandage will be made of banana fibers which is a well used fiber as it is breathable. Breathability is required for wound healing materials since the moisture vapor transmission from the wound site could decrease infection and provide comfort. The layer in contact with skin of the animal will be made up of neem leaves as it has antibacterial properties further this layer is infused with scientifically proven herbal remedies like turmeric for anti-inflammatory benefits, aloe vera for cooling effect, charcoal to prevent infection, and more.
Final Product Design
Traditional animal bandages are typically made from synthetic materials and designed for single use, which is not environmentally friendly. They often contain chemical remedies and adhesives that can irritate the skin of wounded animals. Despite being easy to apply, as they adhere to themselves, they still require proper first aid training to use effectively. Additionally, these bandages can withstand various environmental conditions, but their environmental impact remains a concern.
