In this unit you will be comparing differences in the subtropical rainforest of the Illawarra and the tropical forest of Borneo, Indonesia. You'll learn how different perceptions of the significance of the rainforests have led to widespread habitat destruction in both rainforests, and that we have much to learn from Indigenous custodians of the land.

You also have a project task where you consider the future of Mt Keira Rainforest and present a persuasive argument on an ‘Adventure Tourism’ proposal for Mt Keira.
