- PhET - Science and Maths interactives that allow students to work through a situation or problem, usually allow you to change variables to see the result.
- BBC Bitesize (New) - this new version does not have all the good stuff that was still available on the old version but has the new non-Flash content.
- ABC Education - great interactive activities and games.

- PBS Learning Media - simulations that allow students to explore changing variables in a situation.
- Digital dissections - paid software that supports students to simulate dissections.
- There are often not many differences between interactives, simulations and games. In all cases they should allow students to make choices and changes and explore the consequences of their choices.

- The National Geographic - many activities include a game, simulation or interactive to explain key concepts.
- Many of the sites previously mentioned also have great educational games.
- BrainPop - a paid site that has some free stuff, they do change what is free and update their stuff regularly. US content.

- Giant classroom - History and Geography challenges for schools, website has free quizzes.
- I would use quizzes sparingly and perhaps get students to create and share their own using an online creator.
- Article on online quiz makers - with recommendations.
There are so many places to find free videos but always check you can stream them easily at school, try to download them before class to ensure they'll work.

Integrated units of work
A great many organisations offer units of work with all the associated activities. The Learning Design and Development team at the NSW Department of Education produce new ones every year.
These resources are currently available through Scootle.
- ASIC Money Smart - has a great range of units of work to help students learn real life skills like recognising and counting money or managing a budget.
- Commonsense Media - has a range of lesson plans and a big unit of work on digital citizenship.
- Asia Education Foundation - provides school leaders, teachers and schools with curriculum resources, professional learning, innovative programs and networks to develop Asia capability for Foundation to Year 12 students in Australian schools.
- Sydney Royal Easter Show - has information and units on a range of agricultural topics.
- NSW Department of Education - Digital learning and teaching resources from the department embed future focused learning and include advice for teachers to use them in the classroom. They address NSW syllabus outcomes, harness new and emerging technologies and comply with government accessibility and quality standards.
