The following suggestions for parents may assist you:
1. Ensure that your child is receiving accurate information on the Coronavirus.
2. Keep your family routines stable to provide security and confidence.
3. Use this time together positively to watch movies, play games etc
4. Encourage children to keep in touch with family and friends by phone and social media.
5. Be mindful of conversations surrounding finance in front of your children.
6. Listen to your child’s concerns and ensure they feel validated. Talk through their worries.
7. Look after yourself so you can keep doing the great job you are already doing.
8. If your child presents with worries and anxieties, seek help.
