Students have been encouraged to choose subjects based on interest and current course achievements as well as recommendations based on Year 10 results.

Students should not choose a subject based solely on the idea it will scale well. Scaling in a subject depends on the student's result as well as the results of other students in the course. 

Students can choose a course at a lower level than the one recommended without seeking approval.
