九月八日 晴

时间过得真快!在北京二十天的学习快要完了,后天就要坐飞机回悉尼,心里真有一点儿难过。

回想这二十天,我住在一个北京人的家里。他们非常好客,还常常用中文和我谈话,使我听和说进步了不少。另外,在学校上课的时候,我们都有小组活动。同学们十分友好,如果我有不明白的地方,他们都热心帮忙。我觉得,在这二十天里,我学的中文,就像学了一个学期那么多!真要谢谢妈妈,是她要我参加这个活动的!

中国父母常常要孩子读书,不让他们玩儿。因为中国父母认为,如果孩子读书读得好,他们才可以找到好的工作,过好的生活。

中国父母最喜欢孩子做医生、律师 、工程师。这些工作挣钱多,有面子。但是,如果要在大学上这些学科,学生的学习成绩要很好。所以,很多中国孩子在小的时候,就上补习班,每天做很多的作业。为了让孩子做多一点作业,孩子不用做家务,不能看电视、上网、打电话和朋友聊天。一些听话的孩子,每天只是上学,回家后做作业,然后睡觉。他们学习的成绩非常好,是父母的好孩子,老师的好学生。可是他们没有朋友、没有爱好。有时候,他们很怕和别人在一起,因为他们不懂怎样和别人谈话。有时候,他们也觉得他们的生活没有意思。
