Welcome to the website for the Creative & Performing Arts Auditions. On this site you will find all the information you need to apply for Nepean CAPA High School's Creative and Performing Arts stream in:
Creative Arts, Circus Arts, Dance, Drama and Music.
Audition applications are open for students in Years 7 - 11 2027 (currently Years 6-10) and students in Year 7 2028 (currently in Year 5)
Auditions will close at 11:59pm on Monday 16 March 2026.
Students who are successful at audition will be offered enrolment pending availability of places in each auditioned class. Should there be no availability for successful students, they will be placed on a waiting list and contacted once a place becomes available.
The cost for Live Audition is a non-refundable fee of $60 per audition.
These fees are used to pay staffing and administration costs for auditions.
Live Auditions will be held in Weeks 9 and 10 Term 1 2026
(Monday 23 March 2026 - Thursday 2 April 2026)
Parents and carers will be emailed with the date and time of their child's audition after Monday 16 March.

To enrol in the Creative or the Performing Arts streams at Nepean CAPA High School applicants must be successful at audition. Students may audition for as many of the CAPA areas as they would like.
Successful applicants in Year 7 have the opportunity to study 1 CAPA subject area
Successful applicants in Year 8 have the opportunity to study up to 2 CAPA subject areas
Successful applicants in Years 9 &10 have the opportunity to study up to 3 CAPA subject areas
Successful applicants in Year 11 have the opportunity to select as many CAPA areas of study as they are able to depending upon the elective line structure.
