Bushfire is a unplanned vegetation fire. It is a Australian term used to describe grass fires, forest fire and scrub fires. Bushfires are natural and plays a complex role in Australian ecosystem and have been in the Australian ecosystem for thousands of years. Bushfires can significantly impacts the lives, property and environment.
Bushfires are not always caused by nature. The aboriginal people of Australia has been doing “Cool Burning” was done for thousands of years. "Cool Burning” is a low intensity fire done by aboriginal Australian elders for thousands of years. Cultural burning is developed for keeping land more open enhance the health of people and promote lush green grass and growing new plants and more food for animals. Benefits of cool burning are reduce the chances of hot fire resulting less wildlife is harmed and less trees are harmed , less seeds are harmed. Which means more animals are there for hunting seasons.
Types of Bushfires
Ground fire mostly occur in deep accumulations of dead vegetation. These fires very slowly but very hard to put down.
Surface fires
Surface fires are low to high intensity fires that burn on the surface of the ground.even though tree canopy may be scorched but does not burn to the extent that it will carry a fire.Surface fires can spread embers and spot fires
Crown fires
Crown fire are severe bush fire scenarios and can even form a weather system crown fires very hard to put down. Crown fires have three Stages they are Passive(torching),Active(dependent) and Independent(very rare)

The main reason I put it here is that doctors and other health staff are very important during a bushfire. The casualties during a catastrophic and severe bush fire are very common. There are long-term effects too such as lung disease and lung cancer in firefighters.
