Library

The library is an essential part of senior studies.  Senior students need to use the library’s resources for course work, especially assignments, and it is an area where they can work when not attending class.

The resources which the library offers to senior students include a large collection of nonfiction books, a periodical collection, pamphlet files, newspaper clipping files and audiovisual materials.  Additional resources can be obtained through interlibrary loans on request to our teacher-librarian.

Senior students may use the main area of the library and the senior work area and are encouraged to do so when not attending class.  Seminar rooms are available for use on request.

Most materials in the library are available for loan.

Senior students should be certain that they are competent at using the computer catalogue, as well as being familiar with those sections of the collection relevant to their courses.

The library collection caters for students’ recreational needs with a good selection of general interest books and magazines.
