FAQs

How is work being provided for students to learn at home?

Teachers have set up Google Classrooms in which students and teachers can communicate, work can be assigned, submitted and marked. Teachers may also utilise other technologies (such as Adobe Connect and Zoom) to run online classes, or record lessons for students to watch.

Students could follow their regular timetable, by logging into the relevant Google Classroom at the time they would normally have had their class, if possible. Their teacher should also be available at that time.

Instead of going to roll call, they could check their school email.

Students access Google Classrooms through their Department portal. There is also an app for Apple and Android phones.

On the AHS Learn@Home site there are some links to work, organised by Year groups, and other experiences students can engage in. Use the menu at the top of this page.
