Introduction

Students will:   

• estimate and evaluate numbers that involve exponents and surds

• solve problems that involve multiple operations

• determine methods to factorise numbers into factors and prime factors

• establish lowest common multiples and highest common factors

• explore the laws of indices.

1. Evaluating numbers
