INTRODUCTION
The media industry is vast, covering different sectors and providing work for freelance creatives as well as large teams in design houses and multi-national companies. But there are common aspects to all digital media products. This qualification will help students to develop knowledge, and understanding relating to different sectors, practical skills, products and job roles that form the media industry. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
A good school report
Level 1 Award in I.T. PLUS Level 1 Mathematics and English; OR
5 GCSE passes with minimum grade E or grade 3 (or equivalent).
COURSE STRUCTURE
The qualification will be graded with a Pass, Merit, Distinction or Distinction Star. If the overall grade does not meet level 2 standard, you could still be awarded with a Level 1 Certificate depending on the units achieved:

PROGRESSION
Successful completion of the course offers candidates several routes for progression:
Entry into employment within I.T./Business;
