FLOWER GARDEN ALONG THE ROADSIDE BELOW SCIENCE LAB
Objectives:
- To use the school gardens as a outside teaching classroom and to reconnect students with the natural world.
- To inculcate the concept of floriculture in young minds.
- To teach students valuable gardening concepts and skills that integrate with several subjects as well as several educational goals, including personal and social responsibility.
- To diversify and beautify the school campus.
- To initiate the new site development along the roadside.
Duration: March and April Month, 2019
Work Done:
- Labelled to the ground along the roadside.
- developed garden.
- sown the flower seeds and planted roses.
- Fencing works were initiated by Mr. Kinley Wangchuk.
Mentor/Initiator:
- Initiated myself.
Materials used:
- Stones, top soil, spades, shovel, pickaxes, crowbar.
