The project aims for our teachers and students to study, analyze, disseminate and propose solutions to a topic of enormous current and future impact, such as the aging process.
To this end, seven main objectives are pursued:
1. To be aware of its implications
(social, cultural, political and economic).
2. To analyze its impact at local, national and international levels.
3. To carry out interdisciplinary and international work
(with English as a vehicular language).
4. To get to know associations dedicated to these age groups (residences, associations for the elderly, cultural centers, sports and leisure centers), through visits, collaborations and volunteering.
5. To contact local, national and European political representatives.
6. Promote the use of ICTs and flipped learning (flipped classroom) that places our students as protagonists of the teaching-learning process (awareness campaigns on social networks, recording of podcasts, creation and editing of videos, development of applications and work in digital spaces).
7. Convert the results into pedagogical materials aimed at expanding our curriculum (handbooks and learning units), as well as into informative materials that create an impact on the rest of society (InfoPoints, local press, pages and social profiles of our institutes, etc.).
