Are you ready to paint using only dots? Let’s become real artists and explore how colours can work together to create amazing images!
A pencil (for your sketch).
Paint (acrylic or tempera).
A cardboard to paint.
A plate.
Cotton swabs to make your dots!.
Think about what you want to create. You can draw:
a landscape
flowers
a sunset
Lightly draw your idea with a pencil. Keep it simple!
Put small amounts of paint on your palette. Choose the colours you will need.
Use cotton swabs to create small dots.
🚫 Don’t mix colours!
Instead, place dots next to each other.
For example:
Purple = 🔵 blue dots + 🔴 red dots
Light green = 🟢 green + ⚪ white or 🟡 yellow
Dark green = 🟢 green + ⚫ black or 🟤 brown
Step back and see how the colours mix in your eyes!
Be patient
Take your time
Enjoy the process
